Information this site collects
This website asks for personal information in two places. The catering inquiry form collects your name, phone number, event date and time, approximate party size, and any notes you choose to add. The live chat window collects whatever you type into it, which normally includes your name and a phone number or email address so we can reply. Both are optional — you can browse the whole site without using either. There are no user accounts, and no payment is taken on this website.
How that information is used
Catering inquiries are used for one purpose: to contact you about your event and prepare your order. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to any marketing list without your separate consent.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add traffic measurement in the future, this policy will be updated first and any required consent controls will be added at the same time. The typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers; that request includes your IP address, as with any web resource.
The live chat window is provided by a third-party chat service. It stores a small identifier in your browser so that a conversation stays connected to you across pages and return visits, and it loads its own code from that provider's servers. That identifier is used to run the chat only — it is not used for advertising and does not follow you to other websites. Messages you send in chat are stored by that provider on our behalf and are handled under their privacy terms as well as this policy. If you never open the chat window, no conversation is created.
Online ordering and reservations
Online orders are placed on ActiveMenus, an independent ordering service that opens in its own page. Information you enter there — including payment details — is handled under ActiveMenus' own privacy policy, not this one. Reservations are taken by phone.
Your California privacy rights
Hikari Sushi Westlake Village does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act. California residents may ask what information we hold about them, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below. We will not treat you differently for making a request. Because this site does not track visitors across other websites or build advertising profiles, browser signals such as "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control do not change how it behaves. The only persistent identifier this site stores is the one that keeps a live chat conversation connected to you, and it is not used for advertising.
