Accessibility Statement
Everyone should be able to use this website. Here is the standard we build to, how we test, and how to reach us if something is in your way.
Our commitment
Hikari Sushi Westlake Village wants every guest to be able to read the menu, find the restaurant, and place an order — including guests who use assistive technology. This website is built and maintained to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
What that looks like on this site
- Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone, including a "Skip to content" link and a visible focus indicator.
- Headings, landmarks and labels are structured for screen readers, and images carry text alternatives.
- Text colors are checked against WCAG contrast minimums, and text can be resized or reflowed to a 320 px viewport without loss of content.
- The catering form labels every field and announces errors to assistive technology.
- Animations respect your device's "reduce motion" setting.
How we test
Every release of this website is checked with automated accessibility tooling (axe-core) plus a manual keyboard pass, and the results are reviewed before changes go live.
Third-party services
Online ordering runs on ActiveMenus, a separate service with its own website. We don't control its code, but if you hit an accessibility barrier there, tell us and we will pass it on and help you complete your order by phone in the meantime.
Found a barrier?
If any part of this site is hard to use with assistive technology, please call (818) 707-9064 or tell us in person at 5790 Lindero Canyon Rd, Ste 2A, Westlake Village, CA 91362. We aim to respond within five business days and to fix confirmed barriers promptly.
